Advent & Halloween
Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁
Busy weekend, but today’s a day off and Owen had a pretty long nap, so I did some cat breeding in the afternoon.

Feyre (left) and Kapi (right). I just love Kapi, I got him last summer from Leashy’s PUGS shop. He became a SGCh in July but is he in my showroom? No, I am super behind on that. Updating the showroom, it’s on the long petz to-do list. I’m currently showing four cats and one dog so perhaps I will set a goal to update the showroom once all those are SGCh. Feyre was bred (& slightly brexed) here last month and is now one of the cats I’m showing (Rho’s Court of Dreams). Yes busted, I read ACOMAF and liked it! I also liked the kittens that came of this union and seeing all the white and red made me think that I’ll save this one for the DG advent calendar. By then, both parents will be SGCh. Is it still a SGCh litter if the parents weren’t titled when the kittens were born? My offical answer is: I can’t imagine anyone caring!

One of these kitties (far left) has a tabby personality and one (third from left) does the shaky walk. Cute! The rest are snobby meezers.

Now the kids are in bed (but not asleep) and I’ve got two and a half hours left on the Project Hail Mary audiobook. So I think I’ll try and finish my Halloween restock for the DG Fall Festival. I admittedly struggle with inspiration for Halloween petz since it’s usually not my aesthetic but, I’ll try! Last week I made these two guys on a sheepdog base, so they’re like clumsy wererolves (left).

Tonight I made these ones (right), some nice black and orange textures. I don’t use orange very often but it seems fitting for Halloween. I’m aiming for one more set of fifteen for this restock and I bred one spooky-looking meezer at the same time as the litter above, so ten more pets. The scruffy-cat base by Wapiti is perfect for Halloween so I painted up a few of those as well!

Oh! I also got this cutie from Bec’s festival stall, a chihuahua with scottie ears. Not the most popular breed I know, but I needed (wanted) to test out Lida’s bull terrier OW with a scottie-eared chi to assess the cuteness of a terrier-eared chi. My personal judgment is, very cute!

Did some rummaging and found these four in my previous fall breeding attempts and they look Halloween-y enough for me! I started breeding with one of my first Halloween hexes, the Sepulcher Tabby. Kind of a cute effect on the tail of some of these!

Oh wait I know! I bred this lady back in September with Salem’s mutating spot OW. Perfect Halloween dali! Okay cool, festival restock all ready to go! Keep an eye out, in two weeks I’ll stuff these guys into burlap bags! Thanks for reading, I don’t know how often I will realistically post but admittedly it helps me stay on task if there’s a bit of documentation happening. Until next time!
