The Carousel of Sickness

Oh boy! This month with children has been a challenge; just as my sinus infection was pretty much gone, Owen developed a wicked fever and cough… delightful. I would LOVE to maybe NOT contract this round of misery but we’ll see what happens…

Anyways, things have been hopping in the advent season! Today is the first day of the DG advent calendar and day 14 of the Wiskerwick advent calendar. Today my dane litter was posted! And on day 10 my stripey snowy calico brex was posted. It’s always fun when your own stuff goes up!

I managed to catch Solitude by caniscoyote on day 11 and I think I was quick enough today for a gorgeous velveteen by Zan! SO excited 🙂 Also Megan granted one of my wishlist items this morning, a cyclops muttlie!

Adam turned 6 last week and was given beautiful gifts! Zweilous from Bard, Trace (who he calls “Paper Dog”) from Bunni and PeachPup managed to track down a Goomba file from so-far unknown origins. Thank you, friends! Adam has also been very much enjoying his family of Snom from Mortis’ file. I have to admit they are extremely cute and I didn’t expect to come to love them so much!

Also right before the DGAC opened we celebrated Bird’s birthday. Have a great one, friend! I had never hexed on the plush reindeer base before so here is my first one. Then Adam saw me puttering in Pet Workshop and you know how it is when kids see you doing something… so he also hexed a dog for Bird. It’s fun seeing what he comes up with as he gets used to using programs. Apparently he was going for bumblebee vibes.
