Escaping Reality

Today I’m babysitting my friend’s daughter in addition to having my own children at home all day. For the next few hours I’m trying to keep the boys from maiming each other and making sure they’re being nice hosts. Adam just asked this poor girl if she’s farting and if not, what’s that smell? So, we have a long journey of learning manners ahead of us.

I used to have my computer in the spare room so I could close the door on kid chaos for a couple minutes, but then they just banged on the door until I came out. So now my desk is in the main basement room as an island surrounded by HotWheels and Lego. Noisy, but they occasionally get interested enough in their toys that I can use my computer without them climbing all over my body. Like right now! So I’m breaking down the tasks involved in updating my showroom and chipping away at them. I decided to at least get the forum code ready for the pets who have become SGChs since the last update (and not wait for the last five to champ).

So first, locate all their poses and make little thumbnails. Next, write out all their stats. You pretty much just have to trust me that I did it, so this was a pretty boring entry for you. Unless it inspired you to break up your daunting petz organization tasks into smaller, more do-able bits!
